Flooded Horizons
Flooded Horizons is an immersive virtual reality experience that envisions a future shaped by rising sea levels. The project reimagines iconic locations submerged in water, beginning with Liberty Island, where the Statue of Liberty stands as a haunting reminder of human resilience and vulnerability. This work-in-progress will expand to include a distant view of the Manhattan skyline, blending the familiar with the surreal to immerse viewers in the potential realities of climate change.

This project is deeply personal to me as an artist and environmental advocate. The visual of Liberty Island submerged is both symbolic and emotional—a stark warning about the consequences of inaction. Through Flooded Horizons, I aim to create a visceral experience that bridges art and activism, encouraging viewers to reflect on their relationship with the environment and the urgent need for collective action. It’s a way to make the abstract impacts of climate change tangible and unforgettable.
